Incredible post-match footage of Ange Postecoglou soaking in Celtic crowd emerges

Ange Postecoglou and the Celtic support are getting on famously.

That’s no better illustrated by new footage of the manager soaking in the adulation of the crowd after last night’s victory over FK Jablonec.

Prominent Celtic Twitter account E-Tims posted the video last night from their position at Celtic Park.

It shows last night’s team and the manager receiving applause from the support. Then, Postecoglou salutes the crowd with a few fist pumps that gets a strong roar from those who stayed behind to show their love.

The Greek-Australian has been in Glasgow for less than two months but is already winning over the masses. That’s not bad is it?

Considering we were told by some he was a nobody and not worthy of the job at Celtic, he isn’t doing too badly right now.

There’s a long way to go and greater challenges are to come. However, the last three matches have been a real positive. The team now has something to build off of and create momentum from.

Hearts, AZ Alkmaar and Rangers are now all on the horizon. Those will all be truer tests of where this team and squad is right now.

More work needs done in the transfer market. The club still need to deliver all of the signings that Postecoglou wants in the door.

Off the pitch, the restructure and rebuild of the football department also needs to continue in earnest.

However, for now, we can enjoy last night’s events. We can enjoy the videos and the photos. It’s been a long time since there was a big atmosphere at Celtic Park.
