Kristijan Lovric continues to enjoy Celtic social media posts.

As we’ve discussed previously, Lovric is reported to be a transfer target for the Hoops this summer.

Index report that Celtic are one of two clubs that has expressed great interest in the left-winger during the transfer window. The other being Serie A side Hellas Verona.

Lovric started following Celtic on Instagram earlier this summer. Last night, he was apparently taking keen interest in the club’s posts, liking the one about selling out Celtic Park.

Instagram has been a surprisingly fruitful ground for Celtic transfer news this summer.

Before Carl Starfelt’s official announcement, he posted images of himself watching the Celtic tie against Midtjylland from a London hotel.

Lovric would be a significant addition to the Celtic squad. His presence would add even more firepower to the attack.

In the three seasons at HNK Gorica in Croatia, he’s scored a healthy 46 goals in 100 appearances from the left wing, as well as contributing 24 assists. [Transfermarkt]

Celtic have a need in the position too. Ryan Christie has been the most consistent performer there at the start of the season. However, his contract is running down.

Kyogo Furuhashi can also play out there but has been utilised as more of a centre-forward under Ange Postecoglou, to great effect so far.

Bringing in Lovric could be the final piece of the puzzle at that end of the park.
