Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard limped out of the post-match training session between the non-starting players at Celtic Park this evening.
In footage posted to Twitter by The Herald journalist Graeme McGarry, the French forward could be seen limping towards the tunnel after picking up a knock.
It’s the only slight negative on a magical day in Paradise.
Edouard was one of the scorers in a 6-0 thrashing of Dundee, with new Bhoy Kyogo Furuhashi stealing the headlines with a stunning hat-trick.
Furuhashi is likely to be keeping his place in the team for Thursday night regardless, but the option of having Edouard on the bench is a very good one right now.
There’s also the small matter of a potential transfer, which an injury could obviously complicate.
Edouard looks destined to leave the club before the end of August for a fee between £15m-20m, according to latest reports.
The good news was that Edouard was walking under his own power, but the pronounced limp looked quite uncomfortable.
We’ll be on the lookout for more news from the manager over the coming 24 hours.
In other news, Celtic supporters have a new hero in Kyogo Furuhashi.
