Stuttgart defender Jeff Chabot has revealed that he has watched videos of Celtic Park before their Europa League tie on Thursday.

Many footballing legends have waxed lyrical about the Parkhead atmosphere on a European night, including Ference Puskas and Samuel Eto’o, among others.

Martin O’Neill’s side will need the backing of the 60,000 Hoops fans and a roaring atmosphere is to be expected, but Chabot and his teammates won’t let it faze them.

Teams like Barcelona and Manchester United have come to Glasgow and left empty-handed, often drowned out by the atmosphere.

Nothing can prepare anyone for the noise, and Chabot has admitted he is excited to experience it first-hand.

He said: “I’ve watched videos of Celtic Park and also some of their famous Champions League matches from a few years back.

“There were some huge games there. So we are looking forward to the atmosphere and a fantastic match.

“Of course, we have respect for Celtic, but the anticipation outweighs everything else.”

What other opposition players have said about Celtic Park
