Joe Hart made the night of one young Celtic supporter tonight at Alloa, helping take a once in a lifetime picture with Jota after the match.

Hart was in good form against the League One side tonight, producing a crucial save in the first half from a fierce Connor Sammon shot. It proved vital in securing the 2-1 win and progression to the next round.

After the game, one young fan was looking for photos of her Celtic heroes, with Joe Hart taking a selfie and then ensuring they got a special on the pitch picture with Jota. Premier Sports published footage on Twitter, which you can see via this link or below.

Amazingly the parent of the supporter took to Twitter after the game to give the alternative angle of the video image. User Stephen Gough uploaded the snap within the last hour!

Of all Celtic’s signings this season, Hart is definitely the one who seems to ‘get it’ most when it comes to the supporters and the culture of the club.

Not only has he produced some big performances on the pitch but he’s been a great ambassador off of it too. He’s been excellent with the media and has relished his interaction with supporters.

Tonight is only further proof of that.

Hart could become even more important in the coming weeks if Callum McGregor’s injury is as bad as Ange Postecoglou fears.

The captain could be out for weeks after a facial injury and Hart may well become the de facto leader in the dressing room on matchdays. It was the former England international who took the armband tonight when McGregor went off.

For now, we can enjoy this heartwarming moment and be thankful Hart is at the club.
