Celtic have posted footage of training at Lennoxtown today, on the club’s YouTube channel, as Neil Lennon’s side prepare for the trip to Pittodrie tomorrow.
The Bhoys face off against Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership at lunchtime, and three points are a must.
There’s no doubt it’s been a hugely difficult week for the club. Defeat to Rangers last weekend was followed up with a routine win for Milan at Celtic Park on Thursday.
However, tomorrow, the fightback begins.
Lennon has now been able to welcome back several familiar faces to training at Lennoxtown too with Odsonne Edouard, Nir Bitton and Mikey Johnston all spotted hard at work with the rest of the group.
Edouard looked the most involved, and his inclusion will spark rumours of a sensational return to the starting line-up tomorrow.
If he can make it back and partner with Albian Ajeti or Leigh Griffiths, or simply start in a one-man attack, fans would be delighted.
Even if he’s available to feature from the bench, it’d be a massive boost to our chances of all three points.
The Frenchman has had a frustrating start to the season, but with illness behind him and the transfer window shut, hopefully, we can see the best of him yet again.
Despite his troubles, he’s still scored six goals in ten appearances this term. It’s not as if he has been firing blanks since the summer.
The return of Bitton and Johnston is also excellent news, providing Lennon with far more squad depth in key positions.
Fingers crossed all three make good progress behind-the-scenes.
