Wilfried Nancy doesn’t like playing many centre-backs, does he?
It’s perhaps a reason why Celtic are so open when their opponents turn over the ball, especially with how attacking the two players on either side of the centre-half are.
But after Auston Trusty started out as a left-sided centre-back in a back three under Nancy, he is now being deployed in the central role.
There have been mixed messages around how Trusty is performing, but Willie Miller has given the American a thumbs-up.
The 3-5-2 system Wilfried Nancy can use with the current Celtic squad. Thoughts in the comments.

Auston Trusty praised for new role under Wilfried Nancy at Celtic
Make no bones about it, this is a very risky role, and it was proven when Aberdeen equalised against Celtic on Sunday.
Just one hopeful through ball can cut the Hoops open, and that’s where things will need to adapt and get better under the new coach.
But following Celtic’s win over 10-man Aberdeen, Miller told BBC Radio Scotland that he liked the look of Trusty in his new role.
The Dons legend stated that the USMNT international, who is the only bona fide fit senior centre-back at the club, alongside Liam Scales, ‘looked comfortable’ against Aberdeen.
But Miller did question, with the January transfer window around the corner, what type of profile of player will Celtic recruit, especially for the players that will play alongside Trusty?
“I thought Trusty did well against Aberdeen,” said Miller. “He looked comfortable in that position. I assume the centre one would be the deepest player.
“How do you scout the other two playing in a three? Are they defenders? Or are they attackers? Small or tall?
“It will be interesting to see how that develops and the type of player he wants to go for, and what Celtic bring in.”
