The Bhoys have already defeated Buckie Thistle, St Mirren and Livingston in this season’s edition of the tournament, though they will expect a tough test against the Dons on April 20th, given they are likely to have appointed a new manager.
Kick-off commences at 12.30 pm, and fans unable to attend the clash can watch proceedings on either BBC Scotland or Viaplay.
Heart of Midlothian take on Rangers on the other side of the draw for a place in the final, which will be held at the national stadium on the 25th May 2024.
Of course, this date is synonymous with Celtic history, as the showpiece occasion also happens to coincide with the 57th anniversary of the Lisbon Lions’ European Cup triumph.
Aberdeen announce ticket plans for Celtic semi-final clash
Aberdeen have been first off the mark to commence ticket sales for the upcoming Scottish Cup semi-final, releasing official communication to their supporters amid news they have been allocated ‘up to 19,000’ briefs for the match [Aberdeen FC official website].
Taking to social media platform X, the club also confirmed that fans with 200 or more priority points can now purchase tickets from 5 p.m. today.
The Dons will be housed between the South Stand and the West Stand at Hampden, with uptake in these areas dependent on the demand during the sale process.
Strangely enough, Celtic have yet to offer any clarification over the allocation we have received for the match or any details on when we might be able to pay for our own entry to Hampden.
