Brendan Rodgers showed once again in Celtic’s win over Hearts just how important the Hoops squad depth is to the club.
The Celtic boss made his usual five substitutions in the Bhoys’ victory over the Tynecastle club and one of them, Adam Idah, proved his worth by scoring two goals against Neil Critchley’s side.
The Republic of Ireland international wasn’t the only substitute who made a difference in Tynecastle. Paulo Bernardo and Hyunjun Yang also came on and gave the Edinburgh club a lot of problems to deal with as well.
But it was Idah’s two goals that made sure of the points and the Celtic striker shares just how his teammates feel about the strength of the squad after the Hoops win in Edinburgh.
Adam Idah and his teammates blown away with ‘fantastic’ Celtic squad
Speaking about his penalty in the win against Hearts, Idah told The Scottish Sun, “It was nice to make amends. It was in my head when I stepped up to take it.
“I knew I wanted to score to put it right. Thankfully I did that and I was really pleased with the two goals.
“With the squad we’ve got, everyone is capable of playing their part. This game showed the depth again.
“A couple of us spoke about it the other day, you could play absolutely anyone in the squad from the start.
“Everyone has been fantastic. It’s so good to have that with the amount of games we have and with Europe.
“We know this period is going to be busy, and it’s really important for us to stick together.
“Everyone will be needed to play their part.”
Two Celtic starting XI’s that could easily win the Scottish Premiership
Celtic’s squad depth has gotten Brendan Rodgers out of trouble on a couple of occasions this season.
Against Falkirk, the Hoops boss had to use his bench to see the League Cup win over the line at Celtic Park and then again at Ross County in the tough 2-1 win at Dingwall.
So with that in mind, 67 Hail Hail takes a look at the two Celtic starting XIs Rodgers could field that could still be good enough to win the league.

That strongest lineup will definitely be strong enough for domestic dominance as it is already showing at the minute.
The Celtic second string is also packed with quality but do you think it would be strong enough to hold its own in Scotland and sweep up all three trophies ahead of the likes of Rangers?
