Celtic fans are still waiting on Brendan Rodgers to make another addition to the first-team this summer.
So far, Celtic have added eight players to the squad with only three making their debuts since their summer transfer move.
Jahmai Simpson-Pusey was the last player Celtic signed and since the 5th of August there have been no more additions.
But that may well be about to change after journalist, David Friel, shares what he has been told about Celtic ‘securing a deal’ for their ninth signing this summer.

‘People’ are telling David Friel Celtic have ‘secured a deal for a winger’
Celtic’s transfer links have slowed down of late, but after ‘speaking to people’, Friel shares what he’s been told about the Parkhead club securing a deal for a player.
Friel told The Scottish Sun Sport podcast, “Clearly, it’s been a quiet couple of weeks, and I was off on Thursday, and it felt as if the rumour mill just started again.
“The amount of texts I got about is Balikwisha signing, and speaking to people who are adamant Celtic have secured a deal for a winger.
“I don’t know who it is, whether that’s true or not, time will tell.
“Brendan Rodgers yesterday certainly seemed a bit more chirpy around signings.”
Celtic’s latest transfer rumours
Whether this statement by Friel comes to fruition is anyone’s guess but there is no denying that Celtic transfer rumours have dried up.
Louis Munteanu, Sondre Orjasaeter and Richard Kone are all rumoured to be on Celtic’s list of players to make a Parkhead switch but it seems that this is all just that. A rumour.
With just under two weeks until the transfer window closes, Brendan Rodgers has time to add quality to his Celtic team.
But with every passing day that time dwindles and Celtic fans become more restless.
