Fans hate it when top talents leave their club and Celtic supporters are no different.

The Hoops support have watched players like Kyogo leave Celtic for teams like Rennes and Jota make a Parkhead exit for the obscure Saudi Arabian League.

When special players leave Celtic, the fans can’t understand it; and that’s because of the emotional attachment they have to the club.

But that feeling is not just tied to Celtic supporters. Fans of other clubs feel the exact same way and just this summer, Liverpool supporters got a taste of that.

The Liverpool supporters felt the sting of one of their own academy players in Trent Alexander-Arnold leave for free in a move that Alan Brazil likened to what happened when Kenny Dalglish left Celtic for Liverpool.

Brazil said Celtic fans were as angry as Liverpool’s when Kenny Dalglish left for Anfield

When speaking about Trent Alexander-Arnold leaving Liverpool for Real Madrid, Brazil said Celtic fan anger was the same when the Parkhead support watched Kenny Dalglish leave Glasgow for the Anfield club.

Brazil told talkSPORT, “Whether you like it or not, a couple of examples where I remember, Kenny, the Celtic fans adored King Kenny Dalglish.

“When he went to Liverpool, some of the fans were disgusted.

“I think Charlie Nicholas as well going to Arsenal. When Charlie Nicholas left, because he was a tremendous Celtic player as well, it’s because it’s their club, the fans’ club.

“They feel there’s no bigger club than Rangers, Celtic, Liverpool. There isn’t a bigger club in the world according to them.

“So, you’re going to have your guys who hate you for leaving their club regardless.”

Kenny went on to have a wonderful career at Liverpool and went on to become their manager and a club legend.

How is Kyogo Furuhashi doing since his Celtic exit?

As for Kyogo, how is the former Celtic striker doing now since he left the club in January of this year?

It’s clear that Kyogo hasn’t had the best of times since making his Celtic exit and, unlike Dalglish, is unlikely to win any further silverware after leaving Parkhead.
