Alfredo Morelos has seemingly had some very interesting things to say about Celtic’s dominance over Rangers in recent seasons.
The former Ibrox striker is toiling on loan from Santos in Colombia where he currently plays under former Hoops midfielder Efrain Juarez.
The Mexican head coach of Atletico Nacional is apparently getting the best out of the striker on the pitch, but his views off the field where it comes to the Glasgow divide are as baffling as they are embarrassing.
According to Juarez, the pair have a strong relationship and often enjoy banter about Celtic and Rangers in competition.

But Morelos’ take on why Celts are constantly beating their old foes has surely left some punters chuckling at the irony of it all.
Coach Juarez, speaking in an interview with the Scottish Sun, claimed that Morelos had suggested it was down to referees in Scottish football as to why Celtic “always win”.
Morelos was sent off twice during his time at Rangers on derby day with both coming after a rush of blood to his head in what were justified red cards.
But apparently he felt refs always had a big say in Celtic’s favour domestically as he made it clear to Juarez.
Alfredo Morelos blamed referees in Scotland for Celtic’s dominance over Rangers
“We talked before the derby earlier this season,” said Juarez who previously worked as Ronny Deila’s assistant coach at NYFC, Standard Liege and Club Brugge.
“I was saying, ‘We’re going to kill you’, and he was saying, ‘No chance, you guys have been lucky’, and how it was because of the referees that Celtic always win.
“I like joking and always push it. I mentioned how we were in the Champions League and they were in the Europa League.
“I told him, ‘Yeah, you always play on Thursday, and we play Tuesdays and Wednesdays because the big clubs play Tuesdays and Wednesdays!’.
“Alfredo got crazy because he has a big part of his heart for Rangers. But in that situation, we talk about how big that game has been.”
Efrain Juarez still has a lot of love for Celtic and says he has banter with Morelos
Like Morelos on the opposing side, Juarez still holds a lot of love for Celtic from his time there, even though he only managed 20 appearances.
