What a day yesterday was for Celtic and the fans. As a world-record eighth domestic treble was secured, the fans and the players have created some special memories that will last a lifetime.

With the speculation surrounding Ange Postecoglou’s future creating a distraction for the fans, it seems that the message the Celtic boss sent to his players after the final whistle to enjoy their success was heard loud and clear.

Celtic took to Instagram this morning to post the scenes in the Hampden dressing room as the players started the celebrations inside the national stadium.

Alistair Johnston reacted with what seems to be becoming his new trademark with a Scottish slang, “aye admin” reply which seemed to amuse friend of the club, Big Bemz.

It’s great to see the players relaxing and enjoying the moment amid all the speculation surrounding Ange Postecoglou. The future of the Celtic manager is in the back of everyone’s mind but yesterday, it took a backseat if only for a few hours as the fans and players celebrated in style.

The Celtic supporters have given Ange Postecoglou something to think about

The Celtic fans have played an incredible part in helping to create a special atmosphere in the celebrations over the last two weeks.

The stunning Tropy Day TIFO and the joyous scenes outside the ground after being presented with the SPFL trophy were outstanding.

But yesterday, at Hampden, was different. There was more emotion attached to this one. The speculation surrounding Ange Postecoglou’s future set the tone as the fans displayed yet another incredible TIFO display.

The scenes after the final whistle were also something special. The rendition of You’ll Never Walk Alone was spine-tingling. The scenes, again, outside Celtic Park were amazing.

If Ange hasn’t made his mind up yet about whether or not he is taking the Tottenham job, the Celtic fans have certainly done their part in trying to persuade the manager to stay.
