Another Treble is on the cards for Brendan Rodgers at Celtic.

It’s all getting rather silly now because Rodgers has made the quite impossible normal, and he is set to win more Trebles than Rangers have trophies in the last decade.

On Sunday, Celtic outclassed St Johnstone at Hampden to reach the Scottish Cup final, and now a final date is booked with Aberdeen.

Before any of that can unfold, Celtic have a Premiership title to deliver, with the hope that it is all but confirmed against Dundee United.

This is Rodgers’ second spell in Glasgow, and if you rewind back to when he first joined, nothing much has changed, and he is still walking over anything you put in front of him.

From the comedy entertainment of Pedro Caixinha to now Barry Ferguson, Rangers have tried, tried and tried.

Yet, they have failed to dethrone the man in Celtic’s dugout, and now Allan Preston has a message for those at Ibrox that they simply don’t want to hear.

Allan Preston hails Brendan Rodgers’ impact on Scottish football amid Celtic dominance

The trophies speak for themselves. It’s unstoppable. Relentless. And it’s writing Rodgers’ name into the history books of the highest order.

These are achievements and trophies that nobody will probably ever be able to match again, as Allan Preston told Rangers fans that they ‘won’t like’ the fact that the Celtic manager has been great for Scottish football.

Preston stated that out-of-sorts Rangers need a man like Rodgers in their dugout because is demanding and has a ‘presence’ about him, as he told BBC Radio Scotland.

“He has been brilliant,” said Preston about Rodgers. “He has been a breath of fresh air. He is a real football guy.

“I met him on a number of occasions. I sat in his company and I have chatted to him. It’s football, football, football. He is relentless with it. The demands he puts on these players. Being second in Scotland is nowhere. You have got to win, as simple as that.

“You could see the disappointment a couple of weeks back at McDiarmid Park. He has had a go at the players. He has questioned them and not had to do that a lot, but he did to produce a performance against Kilmarnock by blowing them away in the first half.

“I think the job Brendan has done on two occasions coming to Celtic has been phenomenal. Rangers fans won’t like this, and neither will most of them, it’s good for Scottish football to have someone of Brendan’s calibre as a manager.

“It’s somebody that Rangers need. Someone with a bit of presence about them in there. To say, ‘right, I am the manager. I have got something about me. I know what I am doing and I get the best out of my squad’.

Rodgers’ record at Celtic over his two spells

Many were surprised to see Rodgers return after Ange Postecoglou had left, with that call to leave for Leicester City in 2019 still hanging above people’s heads.

But, fast forward to the present, and all of that is now forgotten because the trophies are being eaten up once again.

If you include this season’s Premiership title, then it’s trophies galore for Rodgers.
