Celtic’s win over Kilmarnock on Sunday would have been felt at Ibrox.
That’s because Celtic played Kilmarnock in the early kick-off, and hours later, Rangers were hosting Premiership leaders Hearts.
Anyway, the duo would have been watching on with intent as Celtic beat Kilmarnock 3-2, after coming from 2-0 down, and producing another late, late show.
For the third time in a week, Martin O’Neill’s side have used stoppage time to their advantage. This time, Julian Araujo was the hero.
But a certain Ally McCoist saw it differently.

Ally McCoist says Celtic can’t keep on scoring late goals
After Celtic’s game at Rugby Park, O’Neill did touch on how his team can’t keep going down this road, as it isn’t healthy.
That was mentioned by McCoist on talkSPORT, who went one further, and thinks the ‘delighted’ Celtic fans should be ‘concerned’ by what they are seeing.
“There is no doubt about it (there is a real title race),” said McCoist. “Even the drama down at Kilmarnock, early on the Sunday, with two-nil down, and Kilmarnock playing exceptionally well.
“I didn’t watch that one, and was listening to it and then coming back and scoring whenever it was. 97th-minute again. All that stuff is adding to it.
“To be fair to Celtic, I think that’s the last three games, two they have scored in the 97th and one in the about the 94th. They are leaving it late, and they are getting there.
“Reliant on late goals. I am of the opinion that the way you tell me that Manchester United do it, you can’t keep doing that. You can’t keep relying on late goals.
“But that said, they have done, and they are winning games of football, which is the most important thing. If I were a Celtic supporter, I would be delighted at the late goals, but slightly concerned.”
Why have Celtic been able to score so many late goals this season?
People are ‘enjoying’ the title race between Celtic, Hearts and Rangers
Scottish football has never been here before. It’s nearly March, and there is a three-way race for the Premiership title.
In recent times, Celtic have walked away with the title, but time and time again this season, they have shot themselves in the foot, so they have to do things the hard way.
But now, it’s very different, and McCoist thinks that quite a lot of people in Scotland are enjoying what is unfolding.
“I think the vast, vast majority of people are enjoying it (the title race),” added McCoist. “I look at it and find it really difficult to split the three of them. It’s not a cop-out. It’s just how I see it.
“Hearts miss Cammy Devlin, and they certainly miss Lawrence Shankland. They will keep going.
“But I am not sure if they get any more injuries, it could really affect them. I don’t think they have the back-up that Rangers and Celtic have. That’s the only thing I would say.”
