It seems Kyogo Furuhashi is still weeks away from a return at Celtic after Ange Postecoglou updated Sky Sports on his situation this afternoon.
Kyogo has been missing from action since before the winter break after picking up a damaging hamstring problem in the Boxing Day fixture against St Johnstone.
Japanese national team manager Hajime Moriyasu suggested earlier today he is making good progress behind the scenes and may even make Japan matches next month.

Asked about those comments by Sky Sports News this afternoon [14:45], Ange said: “I wouldn’t put any timeframes on it. Kyogo, it’s just his nature, he’s working really hard to get back as soon as possible.
“Whether that’s during the next international break or just after, we’ll have to wait and see. He won’t be far off.
“I have a really good relationship with the Japanese manager, I’ve know him for quite a while. He’s been really supportive of our stance.
“Kyogo is working really hard but I wouldn’t put any timeframe on it.”
This isn’t anything too unexpected. We always knew Kyogo was out for a significant period and hadn’t even returned to training yet. This all ties in with that.
At the very least it looks like Celtic will be going another full month without our Japanese forward.
That means the likes of Giorgos Giakoumakis and Daizen Maeda will need to keep up the goalscoring form of late and keep Celtic ticking over.
If we can get Kyogo fit and firing for the last few weeks of the season that’d be a real bonus to our title bid.
