Read MoreAnge Postecoglou's defiant Celtic latest goes down a treat with supporters
Ange Postecoglou isn’t going to deviate from his Celtic mission despite the criticism and media glare of the last few weeks.
That’s the message from the Celtic boss ahead of Sunday’s trip to Pittodrie, where three points are a necessity in the Scottish Premiership.
In fact, he has insisted he is loving life in Glasgow, despite many commentators and critics trying to paint him as a man in crisis.
Speaking to The Daily Record this weekend, he said: “I love this. This is what I’m passionate about and I’ll make sure that we get to where we want to get to.
“This part of the process is not new to me. You know it’s going to be a hell of a challenge because we have changed 50 per cent of the squad, we’ve had significant injuries to key players, we are trying to change the way we play, all of those things.
“I felt we could have been further along but that doesn’t mean I’m going to shy away from it or that I have lost any resolve in what I’m doing.”
Ange fights back as Celtic prepare to face legend
The message of defiance is what we all want to hear. The reality is though it will mean little unless the fighting talk is followed through on against Aberdeen.
We simply have to see a reaction to Thursday up north, not least because more dropped points would leave us adrift of multiple teams above.
Nonetheless, fans are on board with this messaging from Ange right now. Although you could argue pressure is mounting on him, he still has the trust of many, many Celtic supporters.
These fans have taken to social media over the last 24 hours to share their thoughts on his latest interview…
Totally behind Ange..Couple of weeks in and the signs are there when we get to full strength we can go on a run. A settled 11 is vital

It takes a strong personality, to be Celtic manager, given the level of scrutiny, from all quarters.

I am so glad we have Ange Postecoglou as manager, I’ve seen enough to know when that defence is sorted out , we are going to another level.
Has anyone read James Forrest’s post ?
We were told this was the deal. I saw lots of folk agreeing with Lambert that you basically didn't have any room for growth/time at Celtic. It's self defeating. Especially after we bombed the 10, why not give the guy a year?
