Anthony Ralston seems to be singing from an identical hymn sheet to Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou.
The Scotland international hasn’t featured much lately with Sunday’s substitute appearance against Rangers his first in seven matches.
Regardless of that, Postecoglou still thinks very highly of Ralston as we covered at the start of the year.

And his manager’s beliefs seem to have registered on Ralston too given his comments after the derby win.
As reported by the Daily Record, he said: “It’s a big squad and it’s important to know your role when you could be called on at any point.
“Either way, you just want to win. It’s how we win it as well. We want to be able to burst through the finish. It’s not a case of letting up at all.
“My job wasn’t to go on and do anything for myself, it was for the team. That’s drummed right through us.
“We’ve no other choice. From day one, the gaffer’s message has been that we train every day like we are going to play, and that’s what we all do.
“That’s the reason why boys, and on Sunday it was not just myself, can come off the bench and do a job because we train every day at the highest level.”
Those comments could have Ange‘s name next to them and you probably wouldn’t bat an eyelid.
Ange talks regularly about subs having to be ready to make the most of their time on the park, whether than be 30 minutes or just one.

The line about “bursting through the finish” was something Ange said himself this time last year (The Celtic Way). He is likely to have repeated it recently too.
Postecoglou also often talks about the importance of training at a high level. That is clearly something that Ralston feels too.
So Ralston is evidently an Ange disciple at this stage, and he’s not the only one either. It’s great to see.
He should see some game time in the coming weeks after Alistair Johnston’s weekend injury.
Let’s hope he can put in some big displays and lead us to the treble.
