Celtic could be backed by more than 40,000 fans in next month’s Scottish Cup final at Hampden.
Ange Postecoglou‘s Hoops will take on Inverness Caledonian Thistle on June 3 with a potential treble in the offing.
The Highlanders do not have a massive support, and it has now been reported just how many tickets they are likely to be offered for the showpiece occasion.

The Scottish Sun say that Caley will receive 8,000 briefs “at the very least” with the potential for up to 10,000 should they sell-out.
With Hampden holding 51,866 (SFA) that should allow the Celtic support around 40,000 or so.
Of course, many tickets will be given to other Scottish clubs and the like, but we can still expect it to be the biggest Celtic support at a Hampden cup final for many years.
Over the past ten seasons we’ve faced the likes of Rangers, Aberdeen, Hearts, Hibernian, Motherwell and Dundee United in big finals, and Inverness are almost certain to take a smaller support than all of the above.
The Celtic support was in terrific form in Sunday’s derby win. Many supporters were decked out in the Hoops after a brilliant green and white request from the Green Brigade.

It looked good on television, although the damp conditions at Hampden probably meant many people were forced to wear jackets.
With Hampden set to be packed full of Celtic fans, and the match taking place in June, wouldn’t it be great if the Green Brigade repeated their request for the final?
If we get a bit of luck with the weather it could be even more special.
It’s going to be a cracking end to the season regardless.
