The Green Brigade are planning to give Celtic players ‘the biggest welcome they’ve had in a long time’ when they arrive at the stadium to face Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday.
While making clear they will be supporting Neil Lennon’s players prior to the crucial fixture, the group posted an image of new banners put up around Celtic Park today via the North Curve Celtic Twitter account.
They said: “More messages have been left at Celtic Park today.
“Tomorrow fans can send a strong message to the board by turning out in numbers and demanding change. After this, the team will receive the biggest welcome they’ve had in a long time.
“Back the team, sack the board.”
Since the promising performance against Lille on Thursday, the tone of tomorrow’s ‘protests’ has been shifted.
There’s less pressure on the team, and perhaps even manager Neil Lennon, but the likes of Peter Lawwell and Dermot Desmond are still under the spotlight.
Like The Green Brigade, yesterday’s message from The Celtic Trust was similarly in support of the players and against the current board in place.
Regardless of progress on the pitch, there are serious issues behind-the-scenes at the Hoops and some fans are looking for better communication with supporters on the club’s post-2020/21 planning and ambitions.

It remains to be seen what kind of numbers attend Celtic Park on Sunday.
