Everyone knew this was going to become a topic of hot discussion once Celtic were pitted against Rangers in the Scottish Cup at Ibrox.
Celtic and Rangers have met in the domestic cup on several occasions in recent seasons, but all at Hampden, with Martin O’Neill and Brendan Rodgers guiding the Hoops to wins in those respective games.
But when Celtic were drawn against Rangers in the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup over the weekend, many started questioning whether those in green and white colours would get the normal 20% away allocation at Ibrox.
Given that there has been a debate about it, it has left Chris Sutton baffled.

For the last decade, Celtic and Rangers have been wrangled in an unhealthy situation where neither team has provided the away supporters with the full allocation for derby matches.
It started with Rangers in 2018, and it even got to the point where no away fans were present, but there was some improvement last term, even though it’s still not what the away fans want.
But given that the rules state, for Scottish Cup games, the away team is allowed to ask up to ‘20%’ of the opposing stadium, surely that means around 10,000 Celtic supporters at Ibrox in March?
There seems to be a debate about it, and a perplexed Sutton stated on social media that he is ‘not sure what the fuss is about.’
Police Scotland have suggested there are no issues, so nobody can throw anything about ‘safety’ on the table, as Sutton made it clear what needs to happen.
“Not sure what the fuss is about re Celtic’s ticket allocation at Ibrox,” said Sutton.
“If the Scottish Cup rules allow up to 20% of the stadium’s capacity, then that’s what it should be… it would be good to get back to how it used to be in the league as well…”
