Celtic’s defeat to Hibs was a game of two halves.
Celtic looked unusual off it at Hibs in the first 45 minutes of the game. Going into the break 2-0 down, Brendan Rodgers rang the changes at halftime as the Celtic manager looked to salvage something from the tie.
The changes worked as the Bhoys controlled the second half and almost battled back to 2-2 until VAR controversially chalked off Celtic’s equaliser late in the game.
As the final whistle blew, the BBC captured footage of Brendan Rodgers’ furious confrontation with the match officials as Celtic suffered their second defeat of the season.

Rodgers’ frustration boiled over and the Hoops boss let the match officials know all about it on the Easter Road pitch.
The Celtic boss’ remonstrations were a clear indication of just how much Rodgers was exasperated as a VAR decision seems to have cost him points this season.
Celtic fans will remember Rodgers’ Hearts rant last season after VAR subjected the Hoops to a defeat at Tynecastle so it will be interesting to see how this controversy pans out over the coming days.
Brendan Rodgers’ verdict on Hibs vs Celtic VAR controversy
Clearly upset, Rodgers’ mood hadn’t gotten any better as the Celtic boss took in his usual post-match press interviews.
Speaking to Premier Sports afterwards, Rodgers said, “Well, my take on it is that the official Alan Muir has had a guess at it. Because the linesman arguably has the best view in the stadium and he doesn’t give it.
“So for that to get overturned, then I’m assuming there is an absolute clear image of the ball being out of play.
“And my experience up here with VAR is that you don’t have all the angles, they don’t have the equipment to say it’s conclusively out.
“So you’re actually viewing it from a secondary position which is a higher position. And at that point, you’re then having a guess – so that’s the huge disappointment.”
