BBC reporter feeds into Celtic injury time narrative vs Hibs

Celtic’s defeat to Hibs was a sore one for Martin O’Neill and the Bhoys to take as the race for the Scottish Premiership title heats up.

However, with the strange narrative surrounding the amount of injury time Celtic get in comparison to other clubs in the league dying down, BBC man Kheredine Idessane fuelled it back up again vs Hibs.

Celtic eventually lost to Hibs after the Easter Road side sucker-punched the Hoops with a late winner.

But minutes prior to that, Idessane felt the need to highlight ‘Celtic time’ as Martin O’Neill urged his team forward in search of a winner.

BBC man Kheredine Idessane’s ‘Celtic time’ jibe vs Hibs

Not only have Celtic supporters had to put up with Ally McCoist and Kris Boyd peddling this nonsense, it’s now hitting what are meant to be the impartial BBC reports.

Idessane posted on the BBC live text feed, “Nowhere near ‘Celtic time’. Given Celtic’s penchant for late goals, there is plenty of time left in this one.

“The problem for the home side is they’re having to do it with 10 men.”

Celtic are one of the worst-off sides in the Scottish Premiership when it comes to time added on with Livingston and Rangers leading the pack.

It’s strange how that is never mentioned.

Ridiculous VAR decisions cost Celtic again

Celtic have just 11 fixtures left to salvage their title defence, but it seems that VAR is going to have the biggest say in how this race with Rangers and Hearts is going to go.

With Auston Trusty’s red card seriously hampering Celtic‘s bid to beat Hibs, VAR also denied the Hoops what looked like a stonewall penalty at a crucial time in the game.

While the Bhoys were simply not good enough to beat a good Hibs side, having to fight on two fronts for crucial Scottish Premiership points is starting to become really tiresome.
