Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers delivered a quadruple injury update, including a detailed brief on Nicolas Kuhn after drawing with Dundee United.
Rodgers named a much-changed Celtic team to face Dundee United as illness and injury forced five changes to his usual matchday squad.
Out went defensive trio Cameron Carter-Vickers, Auston Trusty and Alistair Johnston as Luke McCowan stepped into the midfield and Hyunjun Yang took the place of Nicolas Kuhn.
The changes clearly disrupted the natural flow of the team as Celtic played out a draw against Dundee United in a game that was bereft of any real goalscoring chances.
Speaking after the match, Brendan Rodgers gave an update on all of the players affected by illness and injury and was pressed on Kuhn who has been Celtic’s most potent attacking goal threat this season.
Brendan Rodgers delivers injury return timeline for Cameron Carter-Vickers & two Celtic stars
Rodgers told BBC Radio Scotland [31m], “The two centre-halves were mostly just through illness, and so they were in the training ground today, just getting on a bike again and getting moving.

“Nicolas, we will see. Ali, we will see but hopefully, all being well, they should be available for Thursday.
“But we’ve got so many games, and we need as many of the players as we can. And the players today done their best, but just couldn’t quite make the breakthrough.”
Brendan Rodgers offers more information on Celtic winger Nicolas Kuhn’s injury
Rodgers was probed further by the BBC pitchside reporter about Nicolas Kuhn and was asked if he could offer more on what happened to the Celtic winger.
Rodgers replied, “Yeah, its his knee. He obviously picked up an injury in the game last week, didn’t train for the first part of the week.
“He came out, working with the medical team and then he just felt it yesterday when he was preparing for the game just felt that change direction just when he passed it, he felt that little twinge.
“A couple of days rest, he would be okay.”
Celtic fans will be hoping that Rodgers’ update is as positive as it sounds as it seems that all four players could be available for selection for the next home game against Motherwell.
With Celtic holding a healthy nine-point lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership table, the draw at United is not a disaster by any manner of means.
However, the Hoops boss will not want to drop any further points in the league, especially with the big Ibrox Glasgow Derby coming up in less than ten days time.
