Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers gave an update on the status of his squad after watching the Bhoys beat Hibernian at Easter Road on Sunday.
Nicolas Kuhn and Callum McGregor were the goalscorers in a comfortable 2-0 victory for the away side that keeps the reigning champions at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
Kyogo Furuhashi and Alistair Johnston did pick up knocks during the encounter, with Mikey Johnston also suffering a head injury late in the match.
Thankfully none of them look serious. However, Luis Palma does face a spell on the sidelines after picking up an ankle injury last week in the win over Kilmarnock.
Brad Lyons received a yellow card for a bad challenge on the Honduran in the 4-0 victory and Rodgers has revealed that’s why Palma was missing in Edinburgh.

The Celtic boss said [Glasgow World]: “Mikey Johnston was a precaution. He felt a bit dazed. He was a wee bit blurred in his vision.
“Alistair Johnston felt a bit of tightness but no need to risk when Anthony is on the side.
“Palma is out for 10 days to a couple of weeks. I think when you watch the challenge back, it was a really nasty injury for him. He did amazing to play on when you see the rotation in his ankle. He is still a bit of time away.
On Kyogo, Rodgers told Sky Sports: “He had an issue with his shoulder. Obviously the guys have tried to put it back in but he’s felt the pain. So we didn’t want to risk that, so hopefully he’ll be okay in next couple of days.”
Celtic need more depth in key positions
The Kyogo issue specifically highlights the need for more striking depth. Other players such as Daizen Maeda can fill in if needed, but that’s far from ideal.
It’s something Chris Sutton noted in reaction to today’s game, too.
We need a recognised centre-forward in the door to help out Kyogo and give the team confidence in grabbing goals when the Japanese star isn’t on the pitch.
If not Adam Idah, with that saga continuing, Celtic need another in the door from the transfer market.
