Brendan Rodgers has named his Celtic starting XI vs Hibs.

The Hoops manager will be hoping to celebrate the title with 60,000 fans inside a packed Celtic Park but has named a much-changed squad to get the win against Hibs.

Celtic starting XI: Schmeichel, Ralston, Scales, Trusty, Taylor, McGregor, Hatate, Engels, Kuhn, Idah, Maeda.

Substitutes: Sinisalo, Yang, McCowan, Schlupp, Nawrocki, Kenny, Bernardo, Forrest, McArdle

In goal, Rodgers brings back Kasper Schmeichel and the big Dane continues to make his recovery from injury.

A change to the back four due to the injury to Cameron Carter-Vickers sees Auston Trusty get his first start since the defeat to St Johnstone.

The midfield three remains unchanged from Celtic’s draw with Rangers as Rodgers goes with arguably his best line up.

And up front, Kuhn’s recovery from his eye injury means he is named in the starting team with Daizen Maeda on the left and Adam Idah up front.

What Brendan Rodgers has told his Celtic players in the build up to Hibs game

Brendan Rodgers has been keen to stress on his players that complacency should not be creeping into their game despite the league title being won.

With the Scottish Cup still to play for, Rodgers has left his Celtic players under no illusions about what he expects for the remainder of the season.

The Celtic manager said, ““It’s very important not to [get complacent]. We’ve obviously had a few days after the Dundee United game, a few days now after Ibrox.

“It’s very important not to. We’ve obviously had a few days after the Dundee United game, a few days now after Ibrox.

“So, for us, and being a Celtic player, this is what it’s about. You’re not drifting, and your wheels aren’t landing, and you’re thinking on holiday, this is a massive part of the season now and we want to finish it.

“If we do that, then it can be a real historical season for us.”

Brendan Rodgers’ impressive record vs Hibs including thumping Celtic Park win

Brendan Rodgers has conquered Scottish football for the third time over two spells as the Celtic boss. He has swept all way.

But at Celtic Park against Hibs, Rodgers’ record is imperious.

Just last season, Rodgers recorded his biggest win over Hibs as a player he sold in January stole the Celtic Park limelight.

Celtic fans would love a repeat of this scoreline as they look to celebrate their latest title win in style.
