Brendan Rodgers has provided an injury update on Celtic’s squad before they face Kilmarnock this weekend.
The manager was delighted to see his squad see off RB Leipzig in the Champions League in midweek as they comfortably beat the Bundesliga giants 3-1 in Glasgow.
It was an ideal evening of football for the Scottish giants and provided further optimism around the club with the feelgood factor well and truly rolling on.
It was also a night where the players seemed to come through it unscathed with Scottish Premiership action coming this weekend and what is a notoriously difficult fixture in Killie away at Rugby Park.

Now Rodgers has offered a squad update for fans curious as to the fitness levels of their key men.
And he identified the two players who did not train at Lennoxtown this morning and explained why.
“Hopefully, all being well,” he began. “A couple of little knocks and minor things the medical team is working with.
“Hopefully the same squad. They’re obviously in a good place physically and mentally. We’ve got another day to go so hopefully all being well.”
Cameron Carter-Vickers and Auston Trusty missed training for Celtic
On the pair who missed training, Rodgers said: “You’re absolutely right (Cameron Carter-Vickers and Auston Trusty) weren’t training but that was more precautionary.
“Just giving them that little extra bit. We’ve obviously had two very tough, physical days and four games so just doing some light work and we’ll see how they are tomorrow.”
Trusty has made 11 appearances so far since he arrived this summer from Sheffield United with starts on the right-hand side of the centre-back pairing alongside Liam Scales becoming a regular occurrence.
Brendan Rodgers has revealed Celtic’s injury list before facing Kilmarnock
Carter-Vickers, meanwhile, has been nursing a knee problem as well as a “frustrating” toe issue this campaign so far and the American has been left out by his manager on more than one occasion to avoid any recurrence of the problem.
Killie play on a plastic pitch and that would not be ideal for the defender.
