Nicolas Kuhn has been in excellent form this season as the Celtic winger continues to justify why he was brought to the club from Rapid Vienna in January.

Following a difficult few early months at Celtic due to illness, the German winger has become a standout at Parkhead due to his consistent performances.

With 19 appearances under his belt, Nicolas Kuhn has registered nine goals and ten assists for Celtic, including a double against RB Leipzig during the week in the Champions League.

Unsurprisingly, he is now known as ‘Super Nicolas Kuhn’ by the Bhoys’ support, who are loving every minute as the wide-man continues to cause carnage on the right flank.

While his rise to stardom in Glasgow’s east end continues, Cameron Carter-Vickers is insistent his colleague is only just getting started this campaign.

Cameron Carter-Vickers on Nicolas Kuhn’s Celtic form

Speaking to The Daily Record, Carter-Vickers has indicated that Kuhn will continue his excellent Celtic start and has attributed his form to hard work on the training field at Lennoxtown.

“Nic’s been great this season. Even last season you saw in training and stuff the quality he had, but it’s just putting it all together on a match day for him. This season he’s started great and he’ll make that continue.”

Sometimes, fast starts can be a result of a purple patch, but Kuhn appears to be someone who fans can expect to continue being a leading light this term.

Stat-trackers Fotmob show the extent that he has taken his form to on Champions League duty, where he has created seven chances, made eight successful dribbles and won four challenges.

Celtic fee for Nicolas Kuhn looks to be a bargain

Kuhn was brought to Celtic for £2.8 million in January, which is another example of the bargains the Bhoys have been able to unearth on the market over recent years.

Combining his recent form and physical development after illness, it is fair to say the German is probably worth five times more than that fee now as he rides the wave of a rich vein of form at Parkhead.

Now, the mission for him is to keep delivering in the crunch moments for Celtic. If he does, the Bhoys will enjoy a very successful season.
