Nicolas Kuhn and Daizen Maeda both missed Celtic’s clash with Ross County over the weekend.
The Hoops comfortably beat the Staggies 4-1 in Dingwall thanks to a brace from “scary” Kyogo, a retaken penalty from Arne Engels and a late finish from sub Luke McCowan.
It was a strong afternoon for the league leaders with manager Brendan Rodgers testing how his players deal with the pressure in big moments during Scottish Premiership action.
Kuhn and Maeda have arguably been the form pair for the club this term with both becoming top providers for Celts in all competitions.
Kuhn has romped to 16 goals and 11 assists for the club while Maeda is also adding goals to his game with 14 and six assists in 29 outings.
Rodgers hopes to have at least one of his star men back on the pitch when Celtic face Dundee tomorrow evening.

He said: “Yeah, Nicolas (Kuhn) is back but we’ll give Daizen (Maeda) one more day and see how he reacts.
“But yeah, good news with Nic back. Everyone else is the same.”

What Rodgers said about ‘versatile’ Celtic

“I thought the players, especially when they watch the game back as well and analyse the game, I thought we played the game to a high level technically and as quickly as we probably could play on the surface.
“So I thought the squad did well. If you think our efforts on goal were nearly 30 attempts at goal and shots at goal. So from that aspect of it, it was very good. But yeah, we rely on everyone.
“Of course, if you have one or two players out, then okay, you have to deal with that. It is a squad game for us and the squad has done well at the weekend.”
James Forrest is one player who remains sidelined for Celtic.
