Celtic are seemingly marching towards a ninth domestic Treble with the Premier Sports Cup and Premiership title already sealed.

Well, the league title isn’t quite done and dusted yet, but it is inevitable that the Hoops will lift their fourth consecutive Premiership crown.

Rodgers is set to manage his 28th game at Hampden Park as Celtic manager as the Northern Irishman looks to extend his unbelievable record at the national stadium.

Brendan Rodgers record at Hampden as Celtic boss

Celtic have competed 27 times at Hampden since Rodgers was first installed as Hoops boss in the summer of 2016.

Of those 27 matches, Rodgers has taken charge in 13. It would have been 14 if it wasn’t for Celtic’s 3-0 win over Hearts at Murrayfield in 2018, with Hampden unavailable on that occasion.

The Northern Irishman has a perfect winning record at Hampden, triumphing in every visit as Celtic manager. Here’s his record in full:

2016/17

2017/18

2018/19

2023/24

2024/25

Celtic’s record at Hampden in 2010s before Rodgers

It wasn’t great, to be frank about it. From 2010, Celtic had Neil Lennon and Ronny Deila in charge before Rodgers’ arrival in 2016.

Celtic would lose seven times in 15 visits between 2010 and 2016, some of those losses pretty woeful.

Inexplicably, Ross County beat the Bhoys twice at Hampden, while there were also semi-final defeats against Hearts, St Mirren and Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

Celtic lost two cup finals in that period, one to Rangers in 2011 and the other to Kilmarnock in 2012.
