Now that the international break is over, the Celtic fans can look forward to the weekend when Brendan Rodgers takes the Bhoys for a difficult trip to Livingston.
The Celtic manager is looking to record a win from David Martindale’s side to keep the pressure on Rangers at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
A stuttering December for Celtic allowed our rivals to claim the top spot in the league but our recent form before the international break has delighted the supporters as has one player’s recent performances.
Nicolas Kuhn has had his struggles since his £3m move from Rapid Vienna in January. Brendan Rodgers publicly explained why the German winger has not found his best form in a Celtic jersey yet.
But good performances against Livingston and St Johnstone have shown why the Celtic manager saw fit to splash the cash on the 24-year-old in the winter transfer window.

Now that Kuhn seems to have claimed a first-team spot, Rodgers explains just how much the Celtic winger has impressed him in training.
Grabbing his chance due to the suspension of Hyunjun Yang, the Celtic manager says Kuhn now looks a ‘different player’ since recovering from his recent health issues.
Rodgers said [Football Scotland], “I can see his progress, he did great against Dundee [in the 7-1 win] and he has been progressing every day in training.
“We spoke to him, it wasn’t his fault [the red card against Hearts], it was unfortunate and sadly he has missed a couple of games. He will be back and feeling great and if anything, it gave us the opportunity to put Nicolas Kuhn in as well.
“Now he looks like he has come onto his game and looking stronger. He looks a different player in training now. So, it’s been a great opportunity for him.”
And like I said, Kuhn has taken full advantage of his chance since Yang’s omission from the team. It will be difficult to argue against the German keeping his place this Sunday but at least, now, Rodgers has two wingers on form.
And at this stage of the season that could be crucial as the title race draws to its close.
