As well as all the transfer activity to contend with, the Celtic fans also have to deal with the build-up to the big Glasgow Derby against Rangers next Sunday.
Celtic sit top of the Scottish Premiership table two points ahead of their rivals and a win could put some real daylight between Brendan Rodgers and Philippe Clement.
And speaking after Celtic thrashed St Mirren 3-0 at the weekend, Rodgers has shared how his players are feeling about the big Glasgow Derby lunchtime kick-off.
Rodgers’ Celtic ‘looking forward’ to Rangers game
Celtic were unbeaten against Rangers last season and whilst Rodgers admits that he is expecting a great game, the Hoops boss is taking nothing for granted despite his recent good form against the Ibrox club.
Rodgers told Football Scotland, “Yes, Celtic-Rangers are always big games. We’re really looking forward to it.
“I think since our first day back pre-season, the level, the tempo that we’ve got to, I think you see the connection in the team when you watch the goals back.
“You see how the team are all together and the speed at which they can get through the field. So it’ll be a great occasion next weekend. And yes, we want to continue with a really good start.”
Rodgers addresses Clement’s Celtic talk
We discussed last week how Rangers boss, Philippe Clement, sounded bullish after hyping up his team as he watched them beat Ross County 6-0 at the weekend.
Asked about that, Rodgers says he’s blocking out the noise and concentrating solely on preparing his team for the big game.
The Celtic boss continued, “I’m not listening. Our concentration has been on us. You watch us play, you see us play. We’re in a really good place.
“Obviously, we move into next week and our focus is on ourselves, really. Rangers games are always tough.
“It doesn’t matter who’s dominating and who’s not. They’re always tough games. So we’ll be ready for next weekend.”

Just like last season, Rodgers is holding his counsel in public and allowing his Celtic team to do their talking on the pitch.
And whilst the Celtic supporters can be pleased about their team’s start to the new season, they will be confident of securing a result at Celtic Park.
A win against Rangers would take Celtic five points clear at the top of the league and even at this early stage the pressure would mount on Clement.
As for Rodgers, the Celtic boss seems focused on strengthening his team ahead of the derby as he makes transfer moves on multiple fronts this week.
