Celtic seem to ramping up their transfer activity as deadline day approaches this summer.
With Matt O’Riley close to sealing his Celtic exit and Gustaf Lagerbielke attracting interest from FC Twente, it seems that a few exits will be completed before the end of this week.
However, the Celtic fans are more concerned about who Brendan Rodgers looks to add to the squad with Lazio winger, Gustaf Isaksen the latest name to be linked with a move to Celtic Park.
The Danish international is said to be wanted on a loan-to-buy basis but the latest report from Sky Sports has revealed Lazio’s stance on selling the 23-year-old attacker to Celtic.
Lazio ‘not keen’ on Celtic sale
The Serie A club signed Gustav Isaksen last summer and despite struggling to re-capture the form he had FC Midtjylland, it seems that Lazio are not keen to sell him.
The silver lining here is that the option to loan Isaksen hasn’t been completely ruled out so despite Lazio seeming firm in their stance, there is a chance Isaksen could make a move to Celtic Park albeit temporary.
Celtic ramp up summer activity
The final week of the transfer window seems teed up to be a busy one for Celtic as Rodgers looks to strengthen before Friday’s deadline.

With Arne Engels agreeing personal terms with Celtic, it seems now that a fee needs to be agreed with Augsburg for the Belgian midfielder despite the Bundesliga club seemingly unwilling to sell.
Celtic have also agreed a loan deal with Barcelona for left-back Alex Valle and it seems that move could be completed very soon.
Brendan Rodgers also remains interested in Mateusz Bogusz from the MLS as the Los Angeles FC attacking midfielder continues to impress the Celtic manager.
And Alvyn Sanches is also of interest to Celtic after reports claimed last week he was interested in a move to Celtic Park.
Celtic are also said to have made an offer for Lyon’s Mahamadou Diawara as Rodgers looks to bolster his midfield options.
So it seems that this week is set to be a busy one for the Celtic fans and there could be significant incomings before that transfer window slams shut this week.
