The race for the league title is really hotting up and whilst we can relax during the international break, Celtic will still be making plans to ensure the trophy stays at Parkhead.
The Celtic manager has had a whole host of injury problems to deal with this season and, if truth be told, these have really affected his ability to get the best out of his players.
But there is one player who Gordon Dalziel thinks that if Rodgers plays every week, Celtic will win the league.
Cameron Carter-Vickers will win Celtic the title
The US defender has proved time and again just how important he is for Celtic over the past three seasons.
In his time at the club, Carter-Vickers has only tasted defeat four times in domestic league and cup duty for Celtic. [Transfermarkt]
That is quite phenomenal so it is little wonder that Dalziel believes that with the 26-year-old in the team, Celtic will go on to lift the title again.
Dalziel said [Superscoreboard], “Obviously, they are missing their captain right now but, for me, Carter-Vickers is so important.
“Celtic are a different animal at the back when he’s there. You saw at the weekend when St Johnstone got an easy goal.

“Simon [Donnelly] and I will have our own opinions on how tight this league is going to be. And I know that Callum McGregor‘s a massive miss, but for Celtic, if they are going to go on and win this league, Carter-Vickers has got to be at centre-half.
“It’s as simple as that.”
Carter-Vickers has tasted tremendous success at Celtic with five trophies out of six in his first two seasons.
A domestic treble last season committed the defender’s name into the Celtic history books and there is no doubt that if Rodgers wants to continue that success, Carter-Vickers, if he stays injury-free, will play an important part in that.
