We all enjoyed Daizen Maeda’s winner for Celtic against Motherwell.
Brendan Rodgers exuded relief, whilst Kelechi Iheanacho celebrated like he had been going home and away for 30 years.
It came after a whirlwind 90 minutes of football which saw Celtic take the lead, fall behind then come back to win it in injury time.
The game wasn’t shown live on UK television, like the vast majority of the Hoops’ home games in the Scottish Premiership.
But on the Italian broadcast of the game, the commentator was certainly feeling it.
Italian commentary of Daizen Maeda goal vs Motherwell
The game was shown on Como TV, which offers live commentaries of alternative leagues to Italian audiences.
Nicola Bondavalli had the honour of enjoying the five-game thriller at Celtic Park.

The network’s account describes the game as one “full of a thousand emotions” – the win was the third time already that the Hoops have won a game in the last minute this season.

It’s also Maeda’s second diving header goal of the season, and came from a pinpoint cross from the left foot of new Celtic man Michel-Ange Balikwisha.
Most Hoops fans would probably say that they’d rather watch the game with Bondavalli’s commentary than the usual suspects on Sky, TNT and Premier Sports.
But his commentary in the clip certainly adds to the emotion of the goal.
Celtic’s upcoming Europa League opponents from Italy
Despite the league victory, Rodgers’ side are facing an uphill battle to qualify for the later stages of the Europa League after a home defeat against Braga.
The Hoops face Roma at Celtic Park in December – Gian Piero Gasperini has the side joint-top of Serie A after ending a nine-year spell at Atalanta to move to the capital.
Then, in January, Celtic travel to Bologna to play the side captained by Scotland’s Lewis Ferguson – who will certainly be desperate for a result given his family’s allegiances.
Those games come deep into the winner, but Rodgers has plenty on his plate before then – not least a Premier Sports Cup semi-final against Rangers.
