The Scottish Sun reports that McGregor will return to Celtic first team action after the international break has ended.

The influential midfielder is said to be ready for Celtic’s next fixture and the visit of Hearts on the 29th of March.

The report states that McGregor is ‘desperate’ to return to first-team action with Rodgers set to pitch his right-hand man in as soon as possible.

With Paulo Bernardo still out injured, Rodgers is short of options in the defensive midfield area so the Celtic boss, and fans, will be delighted at this news.
