Celtic have finally completed their fourth signing of the summer.
Callum Osmand was formally announced by the Hoops on Monday and becomes Celtic’s latest addition of the transfer window following the additions of Kieran Tierney, Ross Doohan and Benjamin Nygren.
Osmand revealed he spoke to Matt O’Riley before his move to Parkhead and he will now link up with his new teammates ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
The striker has signed a four-year deal and upon being confirmed, his shirt number has also been revealed.

Callum Osmand’s Celtic shirt number revealed
As spotted in the youngster’s first interview with the club, Osmand will wear the number 19 shirt for the Hoops.
Although it’s not worth reading into too much, the fact the youngster has been handed a typical first-team number suggests that he will have a role to play in the senior squad this season.
Brendan Rodgers told the club website that Osmand is a “highly-rated, talented young player.”
He then added: “He has some real attributes. He’s a quick and powerful striker and I’m really looking forward to working with him. I’m sure he can be really successful with us.”
Adam Idah and Johnny Kenny will be the two main competitors for the starting berth but this suggests that they have a lot of faith in the star already.
Every Celtic player who has worn the number 19 shirt
Number 19 is a shirt number that once belonged to one of the club’s fan favourites in the shape of Stiliyan Petrov.
The midfielder now regularly works as a pundit during Celtic games and was loved by supporters while at the club between 1999-2006.

As well as Petrov, academy graduate Mikey Johnston also wore the shirt but most who have been given the honour have failed to set the world alight.
