Celtic have announced that tomorrow night’s crunch Champions League clash against CFR Cluj will be shown live on Celtic TV.
The best part of the announcement, however, is that this also includes supporters in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland. The only country where the match cannot be viewed in is Romania.
Coverage of the contest will start at 7:30pm (Celtic Park time) ahead of the 7:45pm kick-off. With the tie level at 1-1, it should be set up for a cracking match against Dan Petrescu’s Romanian champions.
Gerry McCulloch and Tom Boyd will host the coverage inside the Celtic TV studio. Commentators for the match will be Paul Cuddihy and Joe Donnelly (Celticfc.net)
It’s a big boost for supporters who currently have the service but don’t have access to Premier Sports.

The TV company angered some Celtic fans two weeks ago when they failed to buy the rights for the Nomme Kalju vs Celtic clash in Estonia. They still, however, managed to show Progres Niederkorn vs Rangers the next night in Europa League qualifying.
Supporters may have switched away from Premier Sports
The unfortunate incident with Premier Sports may have some people canceling their subscriptions. In any case, the company have yet to confirm that they have the rights to air Celtic vs Cluj tomorrow night. As it stands, their schedule doesn’t have the Celtic game on it.
So it could be a case of Celtic TV or nothing for supporters who can’t make the match tomorrow. Premier Sports have been advertising their summer schedule as having our Champions League qualifiers on them. But, as it stands, they’ve disappointed many in our support.

As for tomorrow night, it’s sure to be a terrific Parkhead atmosphere for the visit of Petrescu’s side. Celtic don’t even need a goal to win the tie after their 1-1 draw last week. The onus, however, will surely be on Neil Lennon’s side to put on a show.
This may not be the routine contest Nomme Kalju was at Parkhead in round two, but Cluj are still there for the taking. If Celtic are hungry enough for it, they will likely bag a couple at least tomorrow night.
How we defend, of course, will be equally as important. But there’s no denying there’s a confidence around the East End of Glasgow these days – here’s hoping it reflects on the pitch tomorrow.
