Celtic supporters will receive 1,668 tickets for the trip to Pittodrie next month against Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership.

The Bhoys travel north on December 17th in the first competitive match back following the World Cup break. Ticket prices range from £10 for under 12s, through to £33 for adults and are on sale now to those eligible. The deadline to buy is 2pm on Tuesday 6th December.

As is the case with almost every away venue at the moment, the eligibility criteria for fans is stringent with the briefs only balloted to those season ticket holders who have attended 42 or more away matches across the 2018/19, 2019/20 and 2021/22 campaigns.

Not included in the criteria are matches versus Aberdeen, Ross County, Rangers, semi-final and finals. Fixtures against Dundee United on 5th December 2021 and Hearts on 26th January 2022 are also not taken into consideration.

Those who cannot attend the match will be able to watch the lunchtime kick-off live on Sky Sports.

By the time Celtic face Aberdeen, the Bhoys won’t have played a competitive game for well over a month, having last emerged victorious against Ross County at Celtic Park on 12th November.

The squad are due to return to training this week after a ten-day break off the back of the club trip to Sydney and will head off for more warm weather work in Portugal before the Pittodrie clash.

Celtic opened the season at home to Aberdeen in the last meeting between the two sides, winning 2-0 thanks to goals from Stephen Welsh and Jota.

Our last visit to Pittodrie ended in a 3-2 Bhoys victory, with Jota again starring on the day with a double.

The Dons have been strong at home under Jim Goodwin this season so a Celtic win would set us up very nicely for a busy festive schedule that culminates with a trip to Ibrox on January 2nd.
