Andy Walker has told the Celtic board enough is enough as the former Parkhead striker sticks up for the Hoops support.

Walker has watched the Celtic board treat fans with contempt and now, it seems he has seen and heard enough.

The former Celtic star says the executives need to ‘get rid of their arrogance’ as Walker demands that the Hoops board must start treating fans with more respect.

How do Celtic fans get the board to listen to their concerns?

Celtic told to get rid of ‘arrogance’ towards fans

Walker was in no mood to please the board after Celtic’s defeat to Dundee United showed an angry side of the fans that the board have become accustomed to seeing this season.

And the ex-Celtic man thinks the executives’ ‘arrogant’ attitude towards the fans is not helping.

Walker told The Go Radio Football Show, “I think just in a general sense Celtic as a club would do well to get rid of their arrogance and their condescending tone when they speak to supporters.

“And I know they’ve got some difficult supporters to deal with … but I think by and large – and you saw it at the AGM – the arrogance and the condescending tone that shone through – and it has been going on far too long.”

How the Celtic board can immediately help heal fan rift

The Celtic board’s relationship with the supporters is almost dead and buried after the events of this season have pretty much severed all ties.

But there is one thing the board can do that will immediately help grant them some relief from the Hoops support.

End the Green Brigade ban. It’s really that simple. One move could help boost the title run in and give some grace to the board and keep some pressure off them up until the summer.

Then will be the time for the board and fans to sit down and iron out their concerns.
