Alexandro Bernabei is in Celtic training and available for Sunday’s match against Hearts, despite recent off-the-field issues.
It was reported by BBC Scotland earlier this week that the Bhoys defender had been charged following an alleged road traffic incident, leading some to reasonably wonder what his Celtic status was.
Postecoglou was asked about the left-back in his press conference today, telling reporters [HomeBhoys]: “Yeah, there was an incident earlier in the week. Now there are processes taking place both externally and internally, and when they come to a conclusion, we’ll take the appropriate measures. He’s training and available for Sunday.”

Obviously, it’s not an ideal start for the Argentinian at Celtic, especially since he’s yet to make a competitive appearance, but we have to trust the club to deal with it appropriately.
For now, Greg Taylor remains the stand-out first pick in the position after a blistering start to the new campaign.
He has really taken on board what it means to buy into this Postecoglou system and how to best exploit the space it can offer our full-backs.

The Scotland international was particularly impressive away to Kilmarnock last Sunday, both sparking the attack that resulted in Kyogo’s opening goal, as well as delivering an all-action performance across the pitch.
He was rewarded with his efforts with the Sky Sports man of the match of award, with teammate Jota heavily praising him live on air to the delight of supporters.
The 24-year-old, who is increasingly becoming a dressing room leader too, has really laid down a benchmark for Bernabei to aspire to if he wants to make it into Celtic teams this season.
The competition bodes well moving forward.
