Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou has sat down with former English Premier League and Socceroos star Mark Schwarzer to discuss life at the Bhoys.

Australian broadcaster Optus Sport run an original interview series with Schwarzer who travels around England and elsewhere looking for stories of interest to our friends across the world.

The former goalkeeper took to social media earlier today to tell viewers to watch out for the footage filmed at Lennoxtown, which should air over the next couple of days – hopefully with a way for fans in the UK to watch online too!

Optus Sport, who broadcast the English Premier League in Australia, have obviously shown great interest in the Ange project throughout the season. In fact, I am contributing with them as a weekly columnist to share my thoughts on the week-to-week happenings in Scottish football!

I’m told that interest in Postecoglou and Celtic is at an all-time high over there as the club push for trophies in two more competitions after December’s League Cup success.

A number of Australian outlets are all over the Ange story, with radio broadcaster SEN recently striking a deal with Celtic to carry live commentary of our remaining matches this season.

Celtic, of course, have also recently confirmed participation in the Sydney Super Cup later this year.

Postecoglou’s interviews with Australian outlets so far this season have been far more relaxed and fun to watch than his weekly sparring with the Scottish contingent.

Schwarzer, who made over 500 appearances in the English top-flight, retired from international football just as Postecoglou was taking over the Australia team, but I’m sure the two have crossed paths before.

As always, I’m looking forward to hearing what Ange has to say.
