Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou is hoping to see his side put on two good performances in the Sydney Super Cup this week.
The Bhoys take on Sydney FC and English Premier League side Everton as the Celtic manager returns to his homeland for the first time in several years.
With this tournament involving two friendly matchups, many supporters might think that the Hoops will be taking this one easy after a busy start to the campaign.

However, that isn’t the approach that Ange Postecoglou is taking going into these two games.
The former Socceroos boss has insisted he is looking to see his side put on a show for the Aussie supporters in attendance, who will be cheering on the Bhoys in their home country.
Speaking to the media after Celtic’s arrival down under, Postecoglou outlined what should be expected from his squad going into the Sydney Super Cup.
The 57-year-old also opened up on how proud he was to be leading Celtic into this game back in Australia, which will play its part in the boss hoping to see two good performances.
He said [Celtic TV]: “We obviously had a game on the weekend, and the Bhoys have gone through a real tough schedule and come through it pretty strong.
“But we wanna finish strong; the boys will have a break after this week. So it’s two more games for us to keep working and, hopefully, put on some good performances.”

He continued: “Yeah, look, I am (proud to bring the squad back to Australia). Growing up here, I always looked forward to clubs from overseas coming over here, and if I wasn’t bringing the team over, I’d be going to the game tomorrow night.
“So I’m pretty proud to bring them back, and like I said, it’s really important for me that we give a good account of ourselves because I know we’ve had tremendous support, not just the last couple years I’ve been there, but the club’s always had great support here.
“So, I know how important it is for our supporters and the Australian football public to see the guys up close and personal.”
Ange Postecoglou ready to put on a show and continue Celtic’s hard work from the first half of the campaign.
As mentioned, for many, friendly fixtures like the ones Celtic are set to take part in wouldn’t usually offer up much excitement or even enjoyment from the game.

However, with the Bhoys currently amidst their domestic campaign and fully firing in terms of match sharpness, we should see a Celtic side who are ready to put on a show tomorrow morning.
The Celtic boss is clearly looking to see his squad continue the momentum they have build-up for the first half of the season.
It would also provide Postecoglou with great pride to see his team producing two fantastic performances and leave those in his home country impressed with what they have seen.
So, although supporters may not be excited just yet for a ‘non-competitve’ match tomorrow, Postecoglou is likely to have his players fully up for this one and putting on a show.
