Celtic’s allocation for the away trips to face Shakhtar Donestk, and RB Leipzig in the Champions League have been revealed.

The Bhoys are set to travel to Poland and Germany on matchdays two and three of the UCL group stage, with the potentially crucial fixtures taking place over the next two months.

In the aftermath of Thursday’s draw and fixture dates officially being released on Saturday morning, Celtic supporters have been busy booking up their European away trips.

The Hoops face back-to-back away fixtures in the group stages, taking on Shakhtar Donestk in September before travelling to RB Leipzig at the beginning of October.

With the games just around the corner, those looking to travel to Poland on the 14th of September and Germany on the 5th of October have been waiting to hear about the away ticket allocation for each game.

Celtic supporter liaison officer, John Paul Taylor, has confirmed this morning the number of tickets the visiting Celtic supporters are expecting to receive.

Taking to Twitter, he stated that the Parkhead faithful will be handed 1,500 tickets for the trip to take on Shakhtar Donestk and 2,300 for Leipzig a few weeks later.

As of yet, there is still no confirmation of when these tickets might go on sale or if there is any chance of an increased allocation at those grounds.

However, fans looking to make the trip now have an indication of the number of supporters who will be inside the Polish Army Stadium and the Red Bull Arena.

Late last week, the club also received confirmation of the reduced allocation travelling supporters will receive for the trip to take on Real Madrid at the Bernabeu, with 1,800 Hoops fans expected to be in attendance at the legendary stadium.

Although the number of Celtic fans inside these grounds might seem low, there is no doubt that the Parkhead faithful will still travel to Poland, Germany and Spain in their large numbers to support Ange Postecoglou’s side.

Tickets for each away trip are likely to be released within the coming weeks, with fixtures coming thick and fast across the next three months.
