Celtic defender Liam Scales is a late call up to the Republic of Ireland squad for matches against Azerbaijan and Qatar.
Scales replaces Swansea defender Ryan Manning who has had to pull out through injury.
It’s the second time the 23-year-old has received an Irish call-up after being included in the squad to face Serbia last month.
Scales has had a slow start to life at Celtic, making just one appearance off the bench against Raith Rovers in the Scottish League Cup.

However, hopefully more exposure to Celtic’s training methods and inclusion in the Ireland group again will better prepare him for the challenges ahead.
I thought he looked pretty good against Raith. He was at least confident and composed on the ball and certainly didn’t look out of place.
Plenty of fans agree, with a growing feeling he should be given a shot at left-back with injuries to Greg Taylor and Josip Juranovic leaving Adam Montgomery as the only option.
Good luck with Ireland, Liam!
In other news, Celtic have a big decision to make on the next derby.
