Read MoreCeltic deliver on fan media promise; Postecoglou set for first event since June on Monday
Celtic supporters will get the opportunity to ask questions of manager Ange Postecoglou for the first time since June on Monday.
As we discussed a couple of weeks ago, Celtic are continuing their revamp of communications with fan media outlets. Part of that involves scheduling two events exclusively for supporter-led websites, podcasts, YouTube channels and organisations with the Bhoys boss.
On the day Postecoglou was unveiled at Celtic Park, a number of supporters were given access to both him and former CEO Dom McKay. The 45-minute long event was a very interesting one, as the manager laid out his vision for Celtic’s future directly to fans.
Since then though, his media duties have been strictly reserved for traditional media outlets, the usual broadcast and written press conferences that we glean information from.
That is changing going forward too of course. Celtic, in addition to events like Monday’s, will now be inviting two supporter outlets into the broadcast meeting on a rotating basis.
I’m sure the upcoming event, which will take place via video call on Monday afternoon, will be full of excellent insight and new snippets of the workings behind-the-scenes at Celtic right now.

Recent fan media conferences, such as the one 67 Hail Hail took part in with club captain Callum McGregor, have received very positive feedback. The club themselves have stated that they’ve enjoyed working with everyone involved too.
All signs point to it being a productive relationship for some time to come, with Celtic not limiting what can be asked. They are also not looking to strike any sort of commercial or quid pro quo agreement. This is exactly the way it should work and why we are so pleased to take part.
We will be sending regular match-goer Hamish from our YouTube channel to ask the 67 Hail Hail question, before uploading a video with thoughts and highlights on Monday evening. Those in attendance will be limited to one question each given the number of people likely on the call.
I’m sure all of your other favourite websites, podcasts and channels will also be all over the event with coverage too!
