It has been confirmed Celtic will play Kilmarnock in the Premier Sports Cup semi-final at Hampden after a late-night draw on Wednesday.
Rangers have been drawn against Aberdeen in the other half of the draw.
Celtic are, of course, the reigning tournament winners after dispatching Hibernian in last season’s final. Strong wins against Ross County and Motherwell away from home have now ensured we’re heading back to the national stadium.

Ange Postecoglou is delighted to be again making progress in the competition after an accomplished display at Fir Park tonight.
Speaking to CelticFC.com, the Bhoys boss said of the display and the upcoming trip to Hampden: “Cup games away from home always have the danger of an upset and the way the opposition approach it, they can have a go and I thought they did. They tried to stop us from playing our football but we were clean with our passing and probably should have put the game to be earlier but I’m still pleased overall.
“There’s never a bad time to score but I thought it was coming and we created good opportunities and knew eventually one would come. Once we got that it settled us a bit and the second-half was really good.
“All competitions mean a lot and when you’re at this football club you quickly learn that irrespective the expectations are the same. I’m looking forward to the trip to Hampden and I’m sure our supporters will be too and it’s another opportunity to get to a final.”
Both semi-finals will be played on the weekend of 13th and 14th January 2023, with the final taking place on February 26th, again at Hampden Park.
