Celtic duo Cameron Carter-Vickers and Josip Juranovic look all set for the World Cup, which gets underway in around two weeks’ time.
Both players have been key cogs in Ange Postecoglou’s backline since their arrival at Parkhead last summer, with CCV making his move permanent in June.
During their 15-month stay in Glasgow, the defensive pairing have started to earn a regular role with the US and Croatian national teams, respectively.

With both nations set to be involved in the Qatar 2022 winter World Cup, which gets underway in just a few weeks’ time, they will have had aspirations to be part of the 26-man squads.
Playing at Champions League level with the Hoops this season has allowed the Bhoys to showcase their credentials at the highest level, with their international bosses likely to be watching closely.
And it looks as though their hard work at Celtic has paid off as countries from across the globe begin to name their squads that will be heading for the tournament.
This morning, it was confirmed that Juranovic would be off to Qatar and is expected to be the starting right-back for his nation as they take on Belgium, Canada and Morocco.
Later this evening, US national team boss Gregg Berhalter is also set to name his squad that will travel to the tournament and face England, Wales and Iran.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, a leaked list of the squad ahead of that announcement includes Carter-Vickers, who looks set to be one of four central defensive options heading to the World Cup for the US.
Celtic stars set for the worlds biggest international stage.
After their selection, Juranovic and Carter-Vickers join two of their Celtic teammates that will be headed for Qatar, with Aaron Mooy and Daizen Maeda also part of their nation’s 26-man squad.
Not only will Celtic be earning some money from their involvement, but it will also be great to see some of our first-team squad being represented on a huge international stage.
All four players joined the club in the last 15 months as part of Ange Postecoglou’s recruitment. So, it just goes to show the brilliant job that the Celtic boss and the club have done in the last three windows.

I am sure they will all be buzzing to get out there and perform for their nation after such a brilliant start to the 2022/23 campaign with the Hoops.
However, for the time being, their focus must remain on the next two games before the squad splits up and they go to Qatar with their international sides.
We wish the Bhoys all the best of luck when the time comes, and it will be exciting to see how they perform at the prestigious tournament.
