Conor Hazard has finally ended his nine-year affiliation with Celtic after penning a three-year deal with English Championship side, Plymouth Argyle.
The Northern Ireland international underwent a medical yesterday and it seems all has gone well as Plymouth announced the move on their official website this afternoon.
Hazard signed for Celtic back in 2014 from Cliftonville but never made his full debut for the club until 2017. The young goalkeeper played his part in a pre-season win over Linz in Austria.

The youngster then found himself being shipped out on loan to gain first-team experience at Falkirk in 2018 and then onto Partick Thistle and Dundee respectively in 2019.
It wasn’t until 2020 that he made his full competitive first-team debut at Celtic in a 3-2 win over Lille in the Europa League. He then went on to make his full SPFL debut for the club under Neil Lennon in a 2-0 win over Kilmarnock.
But it was the 2020 Scottish Cup Final where the international keeper really wrote his name into the Celtic history books. Hazard starred in the penalty shoot-out against Hearts where after a 3-3 extra-time draw, two spot-kick saves helped seal the Quadruple Treble.
He was then moved on loan again to HJK Helsinki where he helped the Finnish club win the league and qualify for the Europa League group stages.
And now a new chapter starts for the former Celtic man. Plymouth have recently been promoted from League One into the English Championship and will no doubt have ambitions of trying to reach the English Premier League.

Plymouth manager, Steven Schumacher was clearly delighted to get his man when he said, “I am very pleased to have signed Conor. He comes to us from a huge football club, so we know he will have been taught superbly.
“He has international experience and all the fundamentals required to be a top goalkeeper. Conor will complement and challenge our current team of excellent goalkeepers, and we look forward to seeing him in action.”
We wish Conor all the very best and hope that this new chapter in his career is very successful for him.
