The Celtic Fan Collective have responded to the recent survey results published by the football club.

Celtic released the findings of their survey with supporters on Friday 31 October, in which they addressed several key topics almost a year after the survey took place.

One of those included an important update on safe standing, as well as ways to improve the club’s dialogue with fans.

Tensions between the fan collective and the club have heated up over recent months and disgruntled supporters protested against the board before kick-off against Falkirk, but now the group have penned their own response.

Celtic Fan Collective ‘welcome’ release of survey results

In response to the publication of the findings, a statement from the Celtic Fan Collective said: “We welcome the released of the long-awaited Fan Survey results today. While we take our time to evaluate the findings, we welcome the club’s commitment to act on the feedback received by supporters.

“This is an encouraging step towards genuine fan engagement and transparency but this is merely the beginning.

“We hope this process leads to regular, open consultation and decision that reflect the passion, values and ambitions of the Celtic support.

“To build on this progress, we urge the club to move swiftly to establish a democratic and representative Fan Advisory Board that will strengthen communication and collaboration with supporters for the benefit of all.”
